Arrival – Hanoi (None)

Upon arrival Noi Bai airport, you are met and transferred to our hotel (check in time: 14:00). Hanoi is Vietnam’s capital city and home to seven million people. Traditional and refined with French colonial architecture, tree-lined boulevards, scenic lakes and a bustling Old Quarter, Hanoi has a sophisticated charm. Observe locals practicing Tai Chi by the lake, with barbers and food vendors plying their sidewalk trade. Overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi city tour (B)

After breakfast at hotel, you are followed by a full day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Close to this site is the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origin dates back to the foundation of Hanoi a thousand years ago. Your tour of Hanoi continues with a trip to the remarkable Temple of Literature, well known as Vietnam’s first university. After lunch, you’ll enjoy the always impressive Ethnology Museum dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. You'll then continue to the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem. In front of this lake is the famous Water Puppet Theatre where you'll see a fantastic performance. Overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi – Halong overnight on cruise (B/L/D)

After an early breakfast you start with a transfer out to the internationally famous and stunningly beautiful Halong Bay, made world famous by James Bond in Tomorrow Never Dies. Arriving just before lunch, you’ll embark on a traditional Vietnamese junk. Take lunch on board and enjoy the afternoon and overnight cruise as it provides you with fantastic views of the fabulous scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands which amazingly rise from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karst formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves, some of which you’ll visit. Overnight on board in Halong Bay.

Halong – Hanoi – fly to Hue (B/Brunch)

The tour continues with a morning spent cruising on to the Man’s Head, Tortoise islands and then Luon Cave by small bamboo boat. After an brunch check out and continue to travel though Bai Tu Long to Bai Chay for disembark, meet the driver and guide to transfer you back to Hanoi for flight to Danang. On arrival Danang airport, you are met and followed by our tour guide to transferred directly to Hoian town. Overnight in Hoian.

Hoian tour (B)

A comprehensive walking tour through the delightful Hoi An Ancient Town, a beautifully preserved Unesco World Heritage Site which has remained virtually unchanged through the centuries. Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Hoi An Town. Exploring Hoi An on foot is one of the best ways to absorb the beauty of this city. While walking around Hoi An, exploring the small yet beautiful town, which tourists find to be a place of quiet and peace. The unique atmosphere combines elements of Vietnam, China and Japan. The most remarkable views are from the ancient houses, reminding visitors of a long gone past and providing a momentary glimpse of a more subdued and simple time.The tour includes visits to many of the town’s renowned Ancient Houses which boast remarkable architecture, Assembly Halls of Chinese influence, Art Craft Manufacturing Workshop and of course the must-see Japanese Covered Bridge. Mostly the houses here were designed with the Chinese, Japanese architecture. Because in accordance with the history, the Chinese, Japanese used to come here for settling down and doing business. Besides, you can recognize the Eastern and Western architectures through these ancient houses. After lunch, walk to the Bach Dang dock where you will embark on the boat. From the boat you can enjoy that busy daily life of Hoi An people. Continue to Thanh Ha pottery village where you can learn and enjoy the daily life of local people.Thanh Ha Pottery Village in the 16th and 17th century Thanh Ha was a thriving village. It was famous for earthenware that was sold in many provinces throughout central Vietnam. Observe all the steps of making a pottery product such as vase, pot, kettle, cooking pot. Then embark to the boat to visit Kim Bong carpentry village. Most of Hoi An old town’s architecture was made by their ancestors, dating back to the town’s heyday as a commercial port. Upon arrival in the village, you'll see the artisans working with their skillful hands on the crafts and visit ship-building yards. Kim Bong’s common products such as furniture, religious statues and finely crafted wooden doors can be found and bought on souvenirs shops. The style of Kim Bong Carpentry is said to be the excellent combination of Cham kingdom, China, Japanese... and of course the talented hands of Vietnamese craftmen. Transfer back to Hoi An by boat. Overnight in Hoian

Hoian – My Son Holyland (B)

You spend a half day to visit to World Heritage My Son Sanctuary which is about 45 km from Hoian. It was a holy land of Cham culture and Champa Kingdom from the 2th to the 17th century. The remains are the remarkable brick towers, whose origins and purpose will be explained by you guide. Afternoon free time at leisure, overnight again in Hoian

Hoian – Danang – Ho Chi Minh (B)

It’s time for your own at leisure in the morning at a nice beach in Hoian before continue your Vietnam Holiday by transfer to airport for an hour flight to Ho Chi Minh. Greeting at the airport and drive to the most bustle city of Vietnam which we named Pearl of Indochina. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Ho Chi Minh tour – Cu Chi tunnel – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)

After an early breakfast you’ll avoid the city heat to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Viet Cong in the American war. Afterwards, we will return to the city to visit some of the most important attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, beginning with the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the Southern Vietnam President until the end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. Afterwards, we’ll visit the History Museum where there is a special exhibition of Phu Nam country which dates back to the 2nd century ‘Oc Eo’ civilization. You'll also visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, one of the best examples of Taoist temples in Vietnam. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)

Go Cong totally strange and real authentic Mekong tour. A small island located within 2 doors Cua Dai and Cua Tieu with 6 months of fresh water and 6 months of salty water will bring you an amazing photo about hospitality, friendly people.

Drive away the noise of city life to reach Tam vu – the kingdom of dragon fruits platation. You can stop at any garden on way and enjoy a special kind of dragon fruit – the red one.

Not only dragon fruits but also rice, corn, chili field on way down a ferry station will bring you to another picture of Mekong Delta.

Besides that, you also can stop at a small local market with colorful flowers, fruits, vegetables, fish and will give you a wonderful photo for countryside life on the road. Continue your journey, go to Ben Lo ferry and take a ferry to get island. After that, hop on a motorbike (or bicycle) to get a green island full of coconut and sour-sop. Let stop at a local house to see what they do with coconut, water hyacinth weaving, broms and coconut leaf roof made.

Let try a new taste with cool canal by a sampan. Lunch will be served in a coconut garden with great hospitality from the host.

After lunch, we return to Ho Chi Minh city. Then you are free. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Ho Chi Minh – Siem Reap (B)

There is some free time for your own exploration in Ho Chi Minh until we transfer to airport for your flight to Siem Reap.

Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, meets and transfers to hotel for check in

Visit to the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang ("The Royal Baths" was once used or ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake) and Preah Khan temple, Built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Siem Reap – Angkor Wat tours (B)

Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Visit to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Enjoy wonderful sunset from the top of Pre Rup Temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Siem Reap – Luang Prabang (B)

In the morning, we will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap lake at KAMPONG PHLUK VILLAGE. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and current.

Transfer to Siem Reap airport for flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, transfer to hotel for check in. Start your visit with Vat Visoun (today Buddhist art museum) and That Makmo, the stupa shaped like a watermelon. Continue your visit with Vat Xieng Thong at the tip of the peninsula. The oldest and most beautiful temple of the UNESCO World heritage town dates back from the 16th century. The roof sweep low to the ground and glass colored panels adorn the walls of the chapels; see the residential neighborhoods of the peninsular, before climbing up to Phousi hill for a view over the city, its surroundings and the Mekong River. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Luang Prabang tour (B)

Start your day of visit of the Royal Palace Museum housing the most important treasures of Laos’ recent past.Walk to the local pier of Luang Prabang behind the Museum to embark at the local pier of Luang Prabang on a traditional boat and go upstream on the Mekong River to visit the sacred Buddha caves. On the way stop at Thin Hong, a picturesque village and get a glimpse of daily life. Visit Tham Ting and Tham Phoum caves housing hundreds of Buddha statues. Return to Luang Prabang by boat/car. On the way back stop at Ban Xang Khong handmade paper village. Drop in the old city for a walk or shop at Hmong market etc. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Important note

  • Most Museums are closed on Mondays and partly on Fridays and some public holidays.
