Full Itinerary

Arrival – Ho Chi Minh (None)

Upon arrival Tan Son Nhat airport, you are met and followed by our tour guide. Ho Chi Minh is a city that never sleeps and offers a plethora of great restaurants and bars catering to all tastes, from street food vendors to the rooftop bar at the Rex Hotel, where international correspondents covered the Vietnam War and where the U.S. military attaché’s press briefing was held daily and dubbed the “Five O’clock Follies”. Whatever your interests, be sure to ask your guide for personal recommendations.

Ho Chi Minh tour – Cu Chi tunnel – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)

After an early breakfast you’ll avoid the city heat to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Viet Cong in the American war. Afterwards, we will return to the city to visit some of the most important attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, beginning with the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the Southern Vietnam President until the end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. Afterwards, we’ll visit the History Museum where there is a special exhibition of Phu Nam country which dates back to the 2nd century ‘Oc Eo’ civilization. You'll also visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, one of the best examples of Taoist temples in Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)

Go Cong totally strange and real authentic Mekong tour. A small island located within 2 doors Cua Dai and Cua Tieu with 6 months of fresh water and 6 months of salty water will bring you an amazing photo about hospitality, friendly people. Drive away the noise of city life to reach Tam vu – the kingdom of dragon fruits platation. You can stop at any garden on way and enjoy a special kind of dragon fruit – the red one. Not only dragon fruits but also rice, corn, chili field on way down a ferry station will bring you to another picture of Mekong Delta.

Besides that, you also can stop at a small local market with colorful flowers, fruits, vegetables, fish and will give you a wonderful photo for countryside life on the road. Continue your journey, go to Ben Lo ferry and take a ferry to get island. After that, hop on a motorbike (or bicycle) to get a green island full of coconut and sour-sop. Let stop at a local house to see what they do with coconut, water hyacinth weaving, broms and coconut leaf roof made. Let try a new taste with cool canal by a sampan. Lunch will be served in a coconut garden with great hospitality from the host. After lunch, we return to Ho Chi Minh city. Then you are free.

Ho Chi Minh – Nha Trang (B/L)

There is some free time for your own exploration in Ho Chi Minh city until we transfer to airport for your flight to Nha Trang. When you arrive in Nha Trang we'll be there to pick you up and get you settled in your hotel. You'll have free time in the afternoon to relax or begin to see the sites of Nha Trang. Nha Trang is relatively small and easy to find your way around and your guide can point you in the right direction regarding restaurants, bars and beach activities.

Nha Trang tour (B/L)

We'll pick you up at your hotel and take you to Cau Da Port for a cruise around Nha Trang. The first stop will be to the beautiful Mieu Island where you can visit the Tri Nguyen Aquarium and see hundreds of colorul, strange, and other-worldy sea creatures that call the shores of Mieu home. The next stop will be Mun Island for snorkeling through a jungle of undersea coral with tropical fish that flash like silver. Our third stop will be either Mot, Tranh Beach, or “Mini Beach” island where you can lounge on the beach, rent a kayak, or go for a swim and we'll have a picnic lunch. Afterwards we'll make one last stop to a local fishing village. In the evening you can soak and relax at the Thap Ba Mud spa.

Nha Trang – Danang – Hoian (B)

After breakfast at hotel, we will transfer to airport for your flight to Danang. On arrival you are met and transferred directly to Hoian, check in your hotel. Then you are free.

Hoi An was a prosperous port from the 16th to 19th centuries trading with merchants from China, Japan, India, Indonesia and Europe who came to buy silk, spices and porcelain. Hoi An’s UNESCO World Heritage Old Quarter is beautifully preserved with ornate pagodas, antique trading houses and old tile-roofed shops. It is a rich architectural fusion of Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and European styles. Many of the historic buildings lining the canals and pedestrian streets have been converted into art galleries, boutique restaurants, bars and cafes. Hoi An is surrounded by attractive countryside with traditional farming and fishing, and by sandy beaches with modern seaside resorts.

Hoian tour (B/L)

Breakfast will be served at the hotel, the guide pick you up and afterwards you'll explore the enchanting time-capsule town of Old Hoi An on a walking tour with your guide. Hoi An was a major sea port in Asia and it resulted in a fusion of style and culture that has been perfectly preserved. Wander traditional Chinese shops, luxurious French homes, and an ancient Japanese bridge. The town is home to silk markets, Vietnamese food stalls, and talented street performers-- all of which are sure to charm you. Then spend the afternoon further exploring the town on your own or head down to Cua Dai Beach to relax.

Hoian – Danang – Hue (B/L)

Breakfast at your hotel, free time for relaxing on beach or shopping. In the afternoon, the guide pick you up and transfer you to Hue. On the way to Hue, stop over for visiting Cham Museum, ascending the Pass of Ocean Clouds for panoramic views of the surroundings and visit the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co Beach. Arrive in Hue, visit Mu Pagoda overlooking the Perfume River End the day at Khai Dinh's Tomb which boasts a traditional Vietnamese design with a European touch, making it unique from the other tombs in Hue. Then free time.

Hue – Hanoi (B)

After breakfast, we transfer to airport for your flight to Hanoi. On arrival Noi Bai airport, you are met and followed by a guide tour to your hotel. Then you are free for your own exploration in Hanoi.

Hanoi is Vietnam’s capital city and home to seven million people. Traditional and refined with French colonial architecture, tree-lined boulevards, scenic lakes and a bustling Old Quarter, Hanoi has a sophisticated charm. Observe locals practicing Tai Chi by the lake, with barbers and food vendors plying their sidewalk trade.

Hanoi – Full day city tour – Lao Cai (B/L)

After breakfast at hotel, you are followed by a full day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Close to this site is the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origin dates back to the foundation of Hanoi a thousand years ago. Your tour of Hanoi continues with a trip to the remarkable Temple of Literature, well known as Vietnam’s first university. After lunch, you’ll enjoy the always impressive Ethnology Museum dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. You'll then continue to the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem. In front of this lake is the famous Water Puppet Theatre where you'll see a fantastic performance. Then we will transfer to Hanoi Railway Station to take overnight train to Lao Cai.

Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat (B/L)

The train arrive Sapa at early morning, you are met by a tour guide then uphill to Sapa. The former French hill station of Sapa is characterized by rocky mountain ridges, terraced rice paddies and lush green valleys. Sapa is located in the picturesque Hoang Lien Son mountain range on the border with China. Colorful hill tribe minorities inhabit the surrounding mountains, each with their own distinctive style of dress. From early childhood girls learn to grow and weave hemp, dye cloth, and decorate the family's clothing with traditional embroidery motifs. After settling your luggage, we will visit Cat Cat Village, where a Black H'mong tribe lives, then go to see a beautiful, natural waterfall in the mountains. Afterwards, if you're interested you can also visit the impressive hydroelectric power station built by the French. You'll have dinner back in the town of Sapa and have the evening to explore the village on your own.

Sapa tour – Hanoi (B/L)

You'll have your breakfast in the hotel and then a guide will be there by 9:00am to take you on your trekking day. We'll walk about 15 kilometers and in the course of the day you'll get to pass cascading waterfalls, terraced rice fields, a sweeping river valley, and truly spectacular mountain vistas. We'll also visit three different villages that belong to the Black H'mong, Dzay, and Red Dzao people. You can choose to either share a meal with a local family in one of the minority villages or have a lunch brought for you from the hotel to have a picnic with a beautiful view. A van or bus will be waiting for you at the last village to take you back to Sapa to collect your luggage. From there we can pick you up either at 4:30pm or 6:00pm, depending on train times and your own preferences, to go to Lao Cai and catch the over-night train back to Hanoi.

Hanoi – Halong overnight on cruise (B/L/D)

Early in the morning, arrive in Hanoi, the guide pick you up and transfer you to take a daily room for relaxing and shower.

After breakfast you start with a transfer out to the internationally famous and stunningly beautiful Halong Bay, made world famous by James Bond in Tomorrow Never Dies. Arriving just before lunch, you’ll embark on a traditional Vietnamese junk. Take lunch on board and enjoy the afternoon and overnight cruise as it provides you with fantastic views of the fabulous scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands which amazingly rise from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karst formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves, some of which you’ll visit.

The tour continues with a morning spent cruising on to the Man’s Head, Tortoise islands and then Luon Cave by small bamboo boat. After an brunch check out and continue to travel though Bai Tu Long to Bai Chay for disembark, meet the driver and guide to transfer you back to Hanoi. Then you are free.
